kostas tsimikas to start vs Brentford

Andy Robertson picked up an injury in Liverpool’s last match. Thus, Greek Scouser Tsimikas will most probably be filling his shoes tonight against Brentford.

Kostas Tsimikas is expected to start tonight’s match between Liverpool and Brentford. While against Leicester City, the Greek left-back acted as an emergency replacement. Liverpool’s no. 21 possesses enough threat and the left flank that makes him the ideal replacement for Robertson. In an effort to get his team their next victory, Klopp may start him tonight.

Tsimikas to replace Robbo vs Brentford

Tonight, when the Reds visit Brentford, Kostas Tsimikas is ready to take the field as the starter. Of course, Tsimikas entered the game on Friday against Leicester City as a substitute. Andy Robertson had a tiny dead leg, and the Scotsman might not be prepared to make a speedy comeback, so the Greek international will have to do the favors.

Although Robertson will undergo some more testing by Liverpool, it currently appears that Tsimikas will start at left-back. The player making £ 50k per week has developed into a crucial squad option for the Reds. He could use this opportunity to knock on Robbo’s door for competition.

Fans do miss their Greek Scouser

Fans are eager to see him start for a change. Tsimikas has proved many times why he is the ideal Robertson alternative and always lived up to the hype.

Roberto Firmino may once more be a contender. Although he missed the previous two games due to an issue, Jurgen Klopp could use him tonight. It’s believed that James Milner and Curtis Jones are other contenders. Along with the Brazilian, they are other individuals with short-term injuries.

Ibrahima Konaté is the main one aside from that. He just got back from the World Cup a week ago, so it will be challenging for him to play against Leicester. But now that he’s back, Liverpool hopes to get him back on track, and he looks fine to start.

One more assertion: Cody Gakpo is not likely to appear. When the transfer market opened yesterday, he officially joined Liverpool.

The likelihood that his registration will be finished in time for him to play, though, is slim. In fact, using him would be a daring move on Klopp’s part. Gakpo hasn’t been permitted to practice with his new teammates since doing so would be a huge sign of confidence in the 23-year-old Reds player.
