It seems that Liverpool have given up hopes to keep Trent Alexander-Arnold in the team as Real Madrid aim to sign him.
Hughes & Co. has offered him multiple times, but it looks like the 26-year-old might be leaving the Merseyside Club. However, reports suggest that LFC are trying their best to make this move possible in January 2025.

Real Madrid targeting Trent Alexander-Arnold and few other stars
Carlo Ancelotti’s Madrid have been searching for an effective right back or a long time now. Relevo reports that after Carvajal suffered a season-ending ACL injury, they are eager to improve their defences.
If Trent marches into Barnabeu, he will join his buddy Jude Bellingham in the Real Madrid squad. However, Liverpool do not want to lose Alexander-Arnold to the La Liga giant for free. That’s why they are trying their best to secure some profit from this situation with a move this January.

Apart from Trent, Real Madrid are also looking at a few other popular names in the game. Jonathan Tah from Leverkusen is going to be a free agent this summer, too.
Another target of Los Blancos is the Bayern Munich winger and captain of Canadian National team, Alphonso Davies. If they manage to sign all three of these stars in 2025, it will be an absolutely wild thing to witness.
Trent is a homegrown star and his free move to Real Madrid will be disappointing for the Reds. In all of his 325 appearances where he represented Anfield, the midfielder has scored 102 goals till now.
Losing such an effective full-back next year will definitely be a massive blow to the squad. Moreover, Mo Salah and Van Dijk’s contracts are also on the verge of expiring sooner or later.
