What a return to the Premier League for Liverpool after the international Breaks, as the Reds hit 5 to Watford to go top of the table. The former Premier League champions were playing as if they are the current Champions of England.
Mohamed Salah started from where he left the turf in the last game. The Egyptians beautiful ball saw Mane breaking the deadlock to give the Reds an early lead into the game. While it was good to see Roberto Firmino back in the scoring sheet as Liverpool lead 2-0 to complete the 1st half.
The 2nd half started reading the same name on the scoreline with Bobby Firmino hitting a brace from a rebound. While everyone saw a Deja VU in the form of Salah’s goal, just like the one he struck against Manchester City. Thus, the Egyptian is really at the top of his game at the moment.
Moreover, Firmino converted satisfaction into delight by completing his hat-trick at the Vicarage Road. Thus, with this Liverpool tops the Premier League standings by beating Watford 5-0. However, Chelsea could take over the top spot as they still have a game in hand.
Next up for Liverpool is a trip to Wanda Metropolitano. Where the Reds will be facing the Spanish joint leaders Atletico Madrid on the 3rd Matchday of the UEFA Champions League. Although it won’t be a cake-walk like this one.
