Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount is unlikely to stay at Stamford Bridge and looking for a move to Liverpool after his contract expires.

According to FootballTransfers, the England international is looking for a way out from the London club and the Blues are unable to come to a common ground with the midfielder.

The 24-year-old has less than 18 months left on his current deal, and the London club are looking for cash in on the midfielder this summer.

As per sources, the Champions League winner is preferring Merseyside giants over any other destination.

Why Mason Mount wants to join Liverpool?

The Reds are looking for a midfielder to strengthen their midfield area. The English giants cannot rely another season on injury-prone players like Thiago and Arthur Melo on the other side they also cannot always rely on young talents like Harvey Elliott.

Klopp’s side needs a young experience midfielder who also can handle the expectations of a Liverpool player. Mount has all the capabilities.

The Englishman has vast experience in playing at an elite level. He can handle the pressure of being in an elite club and as well can play every weekend in the Premier League.

Liverpool is an elite club and it is understandable why the English international wants to join the club. The Merseyside club upholds a legacy of being European elite and it is a privilege to wear the Red’s shirt.

Moreover, Jurgen Klopp’s pull cannot be denied. He has been instrumental to bring back this team right back to the top. He can transform players and bring out their full potential on the pitch.

But the transfer won’t be easy. The player is worth £60M but the London club would not let him go easily to their rival team. Now it is up to FSG whether they want to pursue Mason or not.
