Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been nominated for the Premier League Manager of the month award. Klopp’s contribution has not been unseen.

After a successful month of November and December, the Reds’ manager is on the verge of winning this prestigious award.

Klopp as Premier League Manager for November & December?

The Reds had a wonderful November and December with goals and wins. LFC won four out of four matches during that period of time. The Red half of Merseyside finally saw a glimpse of the vintage Liverpool that was missing from the start of the season.

Klopp was instrumental in each of the Merseyside giant’s wins. During these four matches, Liverpool showed why they are known as English giants. Their counter-pressing was very math effective in these fixtures. With a goal difference of +6, Klopp’s troop gained 12 out of a possible 12 points.

Although the loss against Brentford is still showcasing worrying signs, but the Red’s manager feels it’s just a matter of time. The English giants are currently sitting at the 6th spot in the Premier League table. Meanwhile, Spurs and United are currently in a much stronger position to finish in the top 4.

New additions new hope

The addition of Cody Gakpo could be instrumental considering the top 4 race is intensifying. Moreover, the six-time Champions League winner are also looking to strengthen their midfield. Thus, Wolves midfielder Mathues Nunes is considering a potential transfer to Anfield.

These transfers could jump-start Liverpool’s slow start of the season. The Merseyside giants are under serious pressure after the loss against The Bees, and Darwin Nunez’s form is also becoming a sign of concern for the German boss.

Alongside the German genius, Mikel Arteta of Arsenal, Thomas Frank of Brentford, and Eddie Howe of Newcastle united are also listed in the race for PL manager for the last 2 months of the previous year.
