Renowned transfer expert Paul Joyce has found out some of the reasons why Mohamed Salah might be willing to sign a new contract and extend his Liverpool stay.
Form has never been a matter of concern for the Merseysiders this season as they sit atop the Premier League L and Champions League points table.
Apart from the only loss against Nottingham Forest that the Reds endured with a 0-1 scoreline and the 2-2 draw against Arsenal in the PL, they have won 13 of their 15 matches this season across all competitions so far.
And most of this success can be attributed to the Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah who has been performing exceptionally throughout.
In just 17 games he has appeared, the Egyptian King has bagged 10 goals and assisted 10, totalling to 20 goal contributions already.
However, his stay at Anfield is getting questionable as his contract is due to expire at the end of this season.

There seems little doubt that Mo Salah's first thought is to remain at Anfield beyond next summer. His family is settled in the North West, he enjoys the adulation he receives from supporters and has found Slot “very straight” to deal with

Will Mohamed Salah sign a new contract?
Reporting for The Times, Paul Joyce pointed out a few noticeable factors that contribute to Salah staying at the Merseyside.
Firstly, his formidable form, as he boasts 67 mins per goal involvement, his personal best across eight seasons since 2017-18.
This might prompt the higher Reds officials to contemplate their planning of replacing the Egyptian international for the next few years.
As written by Joyce,
“There seems little doubt that his first thought is to remain at Anfield beyond next summer. His family is settled in the North West, he enjoys the adulation he receives from supporters…”
The second factor being the familiarity of the Salah family at Liverpool and fame and recognition that the star winger has received at the Scouse city.
A paycheck that satisfies his need which obviously has to be greater than the current one would be enough to persuade him.
And lastly, Salah ‘has found Slot “very straight” to deal with.’ The ease of working with the new Dutchman could be one of the biggest motivators for him to stay.
Considering all these factors, the possibility of Salah remaining at the PL club seems pretty positive. Still the string of hope lies in the hands of the officials and the man himself, which will only become stronger or break once the final decision is achieved.
