Liverpool legend comments on Mohamed Salah’s New Contract situation

Mohamed Salah is definitely one of the best players in the world. However, his stay at Anfield is in doubt as to his current contract with the reds ending in 2023. That means just over a year Salah will be able to talk with other clubs over a free transfer, Which Liverpool can never allow.

Despite the Liverpool players Virgil Van Dijk, Fabinho, Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson, and Jorden Henderson all extending their stay at Anfield this Summer. Mohamed Salah is yet to commit his stay at Anfield With just over a year remaining.

The Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler speaking about the contact situation to The Mirror stated:

Liverpool must realize that Mo is now one of the best players in the world, whether they like it or not.

I honestly don’t think there will be any problems with Mo becoming easily the best-paid player at Anfield.

There will be no, ‘Oh he doesn’t deserve that because he is an average player. No way.

I would be absolutely amazed if there is one single player in that Liverpool dressing room who is saying he doesn’t deserve a contract to match his world-class status.

On the back of his incredible form for Liverpool and the success he enjoyed with the club, there’s definitely a talk over a new contract that will see Mohamed Salah staying at Anfield.
