The former Spanish player Luis Garcia, who has played for many clubs including Liverpool, hope that Jurgen Klopp continues to be “very clinical” with rotating his team.

In the previous edition of the Premium League, Liverpool tried to defend their title but they bowed down and finished third on the table. Moreover, they were also eliminated from the Champions League in the quarter-finals by Real Madrid. Thus, it was a season without any silverware for Liverpool.

While one of the major reasons for such a downfall being the injury crisis. And, thereafter Klopp now remains to be very concerned about his players and squad rotation will be a crucial part for him this season.

Speaking to a PA news agency Garcia, part of the Liverpool side that won the Champions League back in 2005, said

“Last year we managed to do a great competition, arriving third in the Premier League is not easy at all when you have so many injuries during the whole season.”

In the current season of Premium League, Liverpool made 10 points in 4 games. While Manager Klopp made several changes to his side for their Champions League opener. When the Reds came from behind to overcome AC Milan and beating them by 3-2 on Wednesday.

Luis Garcia cooments on Thiago Alcantara’s inclusion in the Liverpool squad

Garcia looks quite impressed with the Liverpool midfielder. Thiago Alcantara, who has immense experience to control the pace of the game.

Being a part of the winning campaign with the German giants Bayern Munich, Thiago knows his responsibilities pretty well. Speaking about Thiago’s inclusion in the Liverpool squad, Garcia said

“he’s a player who, when he is on the ball, is always effective. When he’s on the field you can see the other players look for him because he’s the one who can make that difference. That last pass in-between the lines. I’m sure he’s going to be an important player during the season.”

However, looking at his age, it might not be possible for Klopp to start him every game. Moreover, Luis Garcia understands that playing an intense game every 3 days might not be possible for the Spanish midfielder.

Next up for Liverpool is a Premier League game against Crystal Palace at Anfield on this Saturday.
