Liverpool are once again linked with another midfielder and this time it’s Monaco youngster Aurelien Tchouameni.

The Reds are trying to cope up with their midfield issues, and are looking for options in the market. With constant injury hitting at Kirkby, Jurgen would surely like to use some reinforcements.

According to Tutto Juve, Liverpool have shown interest in the youngster. The 21-year-old is on the transfer list for likes of Juventus, Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Chelsea.

Earlier, Spanish source Marca, insisted that the Ligue 1 club won’t sell the Frenchman for less than 60 million. But now, the Italian outlet reckons that Monaco are willing to cough at least 50 million euros for the youngster.

How well Aurelien Tchouameni will fit in current Liverpool squad?

Tchouameni is a tenacious defensive midfielder who enjoys pressing and tackling to disrupt play. Furthermore, he is at ease in possession. The Reds are yet to replace Dutch star, Wijnaldum and are desperate more than ever to sign someone like him.

The Les Bleus playmaker was an integral part of Didier Deschamps’ squad that won the UEFA Nations League. He played for 18 minutes in France’s final World Cup qualification match against Kazakhstan, which France won 8-0 to secure their place in next year’s FIFA World Cup.

The Frenchman was responsible for 6 League goals last season, thus helping the Monégasques keep 14 clean sheets. However, the midfielder is yet to make an impact this season, whose side is currently sitting at 11th position.

But individually, Aurelien will be a perfect fit for Jurgen Klopp’s midfield army. The players are facing trouble recovering quickly from their injuries. Moreover, with an ageing midfield duo of Milner and Hendo, Liverpool certainly needs fresh blood in their team.

It would be however interesting to see FSG splashing 50 million on a youngster. The Reds currently prioritize Bellingham, but Dortmund won’t be shy to ask a mammoth fee for the youngster. Furthermore, The Merseyside will face tough competition from Europe’s elite clubs. Therefore, if Jurgen really wants to sign the talented youngster, they might wanna act fast.
