The Liverpool centre back has toiled for his first-team appearance after a revival from a serious knee injury. Boss Jurgen Klopp has now considered him as fourth-choice ahead of new signing, Ibrahima Konate.
Earlier, Joe Gomez was a regular starter in the Liverpool squad, especially during their title-winning days. He made 28 appearances in the Premier League and 43 appearances across all competitions. Unfortunately, his injury in the last year has degraded his starts for the Reds.
