Liverpool are reportedly preparing an offer for LaLiga sensation and Real Sociedad winger Takefusa Kubo as a replacement for allegedly outbound Mohamed Salah.

This coming summer is going to prove itself as a pivotal moment in the Merseyside club’s history as it will hold the key to future successes.

The impending departure of manager Jurgen Klopp would see a new manager take charge of the Reds. Amid all the chaos, the chatters of star players’ potential departures are causing even more ruckus.

Reports have suggested that many key LFC players could follow Klopp out of the club and these rumours have been a constant threat for the club’s higher authority.

Mohamed Salah, the heart of the Reds attacking line, was the subject of interest for the Saudi Pro League last summer.

So much so that Al-Ittihad were ready to pay a record-breaking transfer fee of £150m, which the English giants eventually rejected.

Despite the rejection, the Saudi side was preparing a £200m bid, however, Liverpool made it clear that Salah was not for sale.

Saudi Pro League director of football Michael Emenalo hinted at the possibility of them coming back for Salah in December. He said,

“…If Mo Salah is available, has an interest to come and everything is aligned, I would be incredibly delighted.”

Liverpool To Replace Mo Salah With Takefusa Kubo

Earlier reports had suggested that Liverpool’s higher authority has already started working towards selling the Egyptian skipper and has already identified a few targets to replace the star forward.

Now, according to a new report via Spanish media outlet Fichajes, the Reds are planning to fill the potential gap with the signing of 22-year-old Takefusa Kubo.

The report has suggested that the Anfield giants are in ‘attack mode’ ahead of the summer and are ‘prepared to launch an offensive’ for Kubo.

LFC are ready to drop a transfer ‘bomb’ worth €60m (£51m) for the Japanese international as the club is ‘determined to sign’ him. However, the young winger’s ‘desire is to remain in Spain’.
