Liverpool‘s Asian preseason tour is over. And they have returned to Merseyside with the details of their two-week pre-season itinerary. This will take them across three nations.

Jurgen Klopp and his players have left Asia after a week of practice, media appearances, and commercial activity. And also friendlies against Man United and Crystal Palace.

Liverpool’s 2-0 victory versus Palace on Friday marked a fitting conclusion to a successful run. During this time the team travelled to Thailand and Singapore for the first time for pre-season friendlies.

Liverpool also faced a devastating loss to bitter rivals Man United. Where they lost 4-0 to Man U.

As complimentary as Klopp was of the warm welcome extended in the two nations, he will be looking forward to the second half of preseason.

Since it has become customary, Liverpool will travel to Austria for a training camp. Although the exact date of their departure was unknown.

Change in Liverpool’s pre-season itinerary

According to James Pearce of The Athletic, the Reds will spend the first part of next week back at the AXA Training Center. And after that, they will be travelling to Germany on Thursday to play RB Leipzig.

They are then anticipated to travel directly to Austria after eight days of training in the Alps. Their base’s location is currently unknown, but they may travel back to Tyrol or Saalfelden.

On July 27, they will travel only a short distance to Salzburg for another friendly before quickly returning to England in time for the Community Shield on July 30.

The Community Shield will not be the final exhibition match. On  July 31, Strasbourg will visit Anfield, and players who did not feature extensively against City are anticipated to start.

Beginning on August 6, Liverpool will travel to Fulham for their 1st 2022/23 Premier League fixture.
