3 academy players also joined the Reds’ first-team training. These youngsters were Harvey Davies, Owen Beck, and Tyler Morton.

With only a few days till the Champions League final, Liverpool is in a crucial phase – and Klopp’s inclusion of three young players in training was telling.

Harvey Davies filled in for Marcelo Pitaluga. He did drills alongside Alisson, Caoimhin Kelleher, and Adrian.

Owen Beck, a 19-year-old left-back, was also part of the defensive group. And with Thiago working separately from the group as he recovers from an Achilles injury, Tyler Morton, also 19, stepped into the midfield ranks.

Rhys Williams has been part of the Champions League squad for the second half of the season. And has remained a regular in the senior group.

Klopp will choose 12 substitutes for the final in Paris. And at least one of those kids has a chance to make the matchday roster.

If that is the case, there will be complete trust in them to fill in. But Liverpool are now in a particularly excellent position in terms of fitness.

Thiago is set to return before the final and could possibly start. While Fabinho trained as usual on Wednesday and Joe Gomez continued to increase his activity following an ankle injury.
