The 17-Year-old is currently training with Liverpool.. Marshall-Rutty is a young promising player who has the ability to play at different positions. In his days at Toronto, the young right-winger has played as a right-back, Centre forward, and centre midfielder.
Many European clubs have shown interest in the young Canadian. Toronto’s former general manager Ali Curtis described Marshall-Rutty as incredibly talented. Even though he has to wait till June to turn 18, MLS Soccer believes that a verbal deal can be done before the next transfer window. It’s a big opportunity for the Reds to sign the young forward as they are already planning to sign a young forward as a replacement for the Reds star wingers for now and for the future.
If Marshall-Rutty impresses Jurgen Klopp during his stay at the AXA training. He could possibly sign a deal next summer. The Reds are currently in a strong position to sign the young forward when he is officially available to move to Europe.
