Newcastle striker Callum Wilson apologies to Liverpool fans

Newcastle star striker Callum Wilson apologizes to all Liverpool fans for his earlier claim that he passed after getting humiliated by the Reds.
The Reds are finally back in their top form after a disappointing spell for the last few months. They are now considered as the favorites to finish in the top 4. But that was not the case a few months back.
At the end of February when the Newcastle striker was asked about the Reds he replied
“You are asking me are Liverpool back? What do you want me to say?”
“They have won two games after the last couple of weeks and like I’m saying we technically let them win. It was a poor performance from our point of view.”
But now the situation has changed. The Merseyside giants are looking ruthless, especially after the 7-0 domination that they handed to an in-form Manchester United side.
Jurgen Klopp is now looking more confident with the Red’s performance. The back-to-back Premier League games have made the Reds more confident both on and off the pitch.
The Reds are currently standing at 5th with a point ahead of Newcastle, who have a game in hand.
Wilson to Liverpool fans
Wilson is also one of them who apologized to the Merseyside giants for his comments in the past. While speaking in Footballer’s Football Podcast, the Newcastle forward said
“I apologise for saying that Liverpool aren’t back. They are back with a bang! Anything I say at the minute the universe shows the opposite.”
The Reds are back in the top 4 race. With only 13 matches left now it is high time that the Reds step up for the rest of the season.
If this form continues then LFC can pull an unexpected comeback at the Santiago Bernabeu as they have previously done with the Spanish giants Barcelona in the knockout stage of the Champions League.
