Currently, Slot is trying his best to reshuffle his senior squad to face the upcoming challenges in the leagues, especially the PL. However, the U21 Liverpool squad also gained another accolade and Tyler Morton emerged as their sole saviour in the match.
This 21-year-old English already won the EFL Young Player Of The Month trophy last December. Now, the LFC midfielder has proved once again why his team can depend upon him in tough situations.
Tyler Morton shines again as Liverpool dominates PL2
As The Reds are busy bagging 9/10 wins in the Premier League under Slot, it seems that the U21 division are also playing well. Their latest victory at Leigh Sports Village proved why the Merseyside Club’s academy is a world-class place for young talents.
Yesterday, Liverpool, with the help of Morton earned another close win against their arch-rivals in Premier League 2. Man Utd really tried their best to keep up, but the U21 squad of Anfield put forward an amazing display of skills to bring them down. In the end, it was a good day for the Reds as the match ended with a 1-0.

While the U21 squad of Liverpool was playing against Man Utd, Morton scored a wonderful goal. Terence Miles, the Reds centre back was moving past and trying to break through United’s defence. Tyler came in right after Man U keeper cleared the ball. Although he blocked the shot once, the LFC star netted the ball on its rebound.
Other than Tyler Morton scoring a brilliant goal for Liverpool, there was another youngster who deserves a lot of credit. Kornel Misciur showed astonishing speed off his line while dealing with the defense. Plus, the 17-year-old goalkeeper made a wonderful save after he emerged victorious from a close 1 vs 1 clash.
