Liverpool are back on top of English football, and Mohamed Salah believes this Premier League title feels even sweeter than the one under Jurgen Klopp.
After a 5-1 win against Tottenham at a bouncing Anfield, Salah opened up about why this latest triumph stands apart.
It has been a season of change for the Reds. Big names like Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, and Jordan Henderson have moved on.
Jurgen Klopp, the manager who ended Liverpool’s 30-year wait for a title, also left last summer. But under Arne Slot, Liverpool have found a new rhythm — and a lot of goals too.
Salah, speaking to Sky Sports, made it clear just how much this one means. “This is way better, 100%,” he said. “Without Sadio, without Jurgen, without Bobby, without everybody…it feels more special with the fans.”
The Egyptian king, who scored in the win over Spurs, also said lifting the trophy with the fans present made it even better. The last time Liverpool won in 2020, the celebrations were behind closed doors because of the pandemic.

Salah reveals how Liverpool was different under Arne Slot
Salah was full of praise for his new manager. He said Slot’s direct approach has helped him shine even brighter.
“He’s very honest, he’s quite tough – Dutch – but it’s his personality,” Salah said. “He made our lives easier because he [tells you] what he wants you to do.”
Salah also joked about his new role on the pitch. “I told him, ‘look, as long as you rest me defensively, then I will provide offensively and then I will show you numbers’, and I’m glad that I did,” he shared with a smile.
With 28 goals this season, Salah’s gamble of staying forward has clearly paid off. His assist numbers also show he’s not just a goal machine — he’s been a creator too.
Slot and Salah seem to have found the perfect match. In a season where many expected Liverpool to rebuild, they have instead reloaded — and taken the crown once again.
No wonder Anfield is singing louder than ever: Arne Slot’s Reds are flying high, and Salah is leading the party.
