Mo Salah still proves to be a key player for Liverpool but his contract situation is still yet to be resolved. As of now Salah is set to leave on a free transfer at the end of the season when his contract expires.
Salah is in his 8th season at Liverpool and has already reached double figures for goals and assists in all competitions. Salah is involved in 66.7 percent of all league goals this season. Proving yet again why his contract should be renewed.

Mo Salah contract latest
For a player who was supposed to be a one season wonder, Mo Salah has eight goals and six assists for Liverpool this season in the Premier League. Arne Slot’s side scored 21 goals this season, Salah was involved in 66.7 percent of those goals.
Across all competitions, Salah has played a role in 20 of Liverpool’s 39 goals. However there is still no update in the contract situation of Mo Salah. Not only Mo, but Van Dijk and Trent are also set to leave on a free transfer.

James Pearce revealed via The Athletic: “Liverpool want to keep Salah and the player is keen on staying put”. An agreement has to be reached by the club and Mo Salah on the salary and length of contract. From January all three players are allowed to talk to other clubs regarding their transfer.
