September was an interesting time for the football fans, especially after the infamous incident in the Preston vs Blackburn match. FA has now slapped Milutin Osmajic with a lengthy ban that will also impact the career of this Montenegrin Footballer.
The organization will soon publish more statement regarding this issue soon. The Preston star will now miss the fixtures in Carabao Cup too. His team has not yet agreed to make any more statement regarding this issue.
FA takes action, imposes ban Milutin Osmajic
The player in question has committed a foul against a Liverpool star who joined Blackburn on a loan move. According to the Rovers Boss, they spotted a big bite mark on the back of his neck right after the clash.
In the match against Blackburn, Osmajic appeared to bite Owen Beck and now, the FA has imposed a ban. This had happened at the end of September and the referee fined the striker with just a yellow card. However, it was clear that the Preston striker would receive some strict action later on.
Now, Milutin Osmajic has received a lengthy ban as a strict action from FA. The player got a fine of £15,000 and a strict ban for eight matches. As a result, Preston won’t get their striker on the team in their clash against Arsenal. The 25-year-old will miss the fixtures against Burnley, Coventry City, Norwich City, Plymouth Argyle, Bristol City, Sunderland and Portsmouth.
Before FA imposed ban on Osmajic, the Preston Director talked about this issue on TalkSPORT.
“We’ve already indicated to the player what we’re doing. I want to keep that obviously in-house but you can be assured that that’s not something that we condone as a football club and we’ve taken appropriate action.”
