Nottingham Forest welcomes the mighty Liverpool for a FA Cup quarterfinal encounter at the City Ground on Sunday evening.

For the first since 1999, these two iconic clubs will be up against each other. The last time both sides met the match ended at 2-2 in a Premier League tie.

Liverpool have been in superb form this season. Moreover, after the EFL Cup success, the mammoth Quadruple is on for the club.

Klopp & Co. have produced some stellar performances so far this season and also even if they don’t play well they now win games. And with their current form and motivation, they will travel to Nottinghamshire to face the forgotten giants of Europe Nottingham Forest.

Interestingly, the Forest side are the second British club to win back-to-back Champions League, the other team being Liverpool.

Also two time FA Cup champions, the last time Nottingham Forest lifted the FA Cup was back in 1959.

Liverpool does have a real deal at the City Ground on Sunday for sure.

The Reds have had fairly comfortable ties in the competition so far. Klopp’s men won all three of their matches at Anfield against Shrewsbury Town, Cardiff City, and Norwich City.

Meanwhile, with a midweek victory over Arsenal to cut down Man City’s lead to just one point in the league standings. Klopp’s side are surely high on confidence going into Sunday’s game.

Also, the Reds have been handed a favorable draw against SL Benfica in the Quarterfinal tie in the Champions League.

Trent Alexander Arnold has withdrawn his name from the England squad for the upcoming International break due to a hamstring issue. The Right back is surely going to miss the tie on Sunday.

Meanwhile, as Trent is out of the context, defender Joe Gomez is likely to feature as the right back.

Moreover, Mo Salah is in doubt for the game with his foot issue.

Klopp has already confirmed the goalkeeping situation, as Alisson will be on between the sticks on Sunday.

There are chances of some wholesome changes from the side that played against Arsenal midweek.
