Liverpool meets Manchester City in yet another classic encounter in the Premier League. With Liverpool and Manchester City sharing a point each, the Reds still remains to be the only side in the Premier League who are yet to lose in the top flight this season.
The kick-off saw the defending champions taking the charge of the game. As Manchester City completely dominated the first half but were unlucky to score. However, Jurgen Klopp knows his speeches very well and thus the real battle began after halftime.
Kicking off the second half on high notes, Liverpool took just 15 minutes into the game to Break the deadlock. Sadio Mane gave the Reds an early lead in the 2nd half with a superb finish, which was matched by Phil Foden on the other side of the pitch to make it all even again.
However, Mohamed Salah had different plans on the eve. Thus, the Egyptian’s excellent link-up play and fascinating skills resulted in one of the goals of the season so far. Although Liverpool were back again on the top but Kevin De Bruyne’s deflected shot put the match all square again.
However, Liverpool could have had the last laugh but Rodri’s block ensured a point each for both sides.
