Luis Suarez has done it again! But this time not for biting an opponent or scoring a stunning volley. No, the former Liverpool and Barcelona star has decided to turn heads in a very different way – by unveiling a shockingly blonde hairstyle during recent training session with Inter Miami.
The 37-year-old Uruguayan striker recently called time on his international career. He made his 143rd and final appearance for Uruguay this month, passing the torch to Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez to lead the line.
Blonde look for retired Suarez
Suarez is now fully focused on his club career at Inter Miami. The man who terrorized Premier League and La Liga defenses for years, has decided it was the perfect time to freshen things up – starting with his hair.

Miami’s social media team wasted no time sharing his new look, posting two photos of a bleach-blonde Suarez mid-training session. The caption read, “New look for Luis Suarez.” As if anyone could miss it.
The post has since racked up over 1M likes. The blonde hair might take some getting used to. But hey, if Messi, Busquets, and Alba can adjust to Miami life, why can’t Suarez adjust to a new hairstyle?
On farewell…
As for his decision to hang up his international boots, Suarez explained earlier this month that he’s bowing out on his own terms. Suarez told reporters on September 3:
“I am retiring because I want to step aside. I am 37 years old, there are a lot of talented players, and I know it would be difficult to get to the next World Cup.
It is comforting to know I can retire on my terms and not have to retire due to injuries, or to not being called up. I want to say goodbye here, with my people. This is the ideal moment.”
So, farewell to Suarez the international footballer – and hello to Suarez, the platinum-blonde MLS goal machine.
