Liverpool’s new signing Federico Chiesa shows glimpses of his electric pace in the latest training video posted by Liverpool on social media.
Chiesa still awaiting his full Liverpool debut, came on in the 93rd minute replacing Mo Salah in the Champions League clash against AC Milan. He managed to get one touch on the ball.
Chiesa was not part of the squad against Manchester United and Nottingham Forest. He might make his Premier League debut against Bournemouth tomorrow, however, it is highly unlikely that he will start.
Federico Chiesa shows his pace in Liverpool training
In the latest training video posted by the club, new signing Federico Chiesa shows his electric pace against Wataru Endo in head-to-head sprints. Chiesa is seen comfortably getting past his teammate Endo.
Footage might suggest Chiesa is slowly regaining his fitness, this means he will get more playing time in the coming games. Chiesa failed to get a pre-season after he was left out of Thiago Motta’s plans for Juventus. However, he used the September international break to work on his fitness.
Federico Chiesa might have to wait a little bit longer to make his full debut, but the latest Liverpool training video shows he is more than ready.
The Reds were also seen doing more competitive games in their training as they prepare to face Bournemouth.
