As we return from the international breaks, Liverpool host Arsenal to resume their journey in the Premier League. The Reds will be hoping not to fall off the top 4. While Arsenal will look to continue their commanding run after gaining confidence from their recent performances. Let us have a look at the team news for Liverpool as they get ready to welcome Arsenal at Anfield.

Liverpool lost their previous game 3-2 away to West Ham United before the international breaks. Thus, Jurgen Klopp’s men will look to bounce back to winning ways in order to stay in the title race. This is going to be a tough challenge as the Reds take on in-from Gunners on home soil.

Liverpool are now clinging to number four and are six points behind the leaders Chelsea. Arsenal will surely look to dent Liverpool’s hopes as they too would want to prevail themselves in the top 4. Jurgen Klopp will have a busy day in the office, planning about Arsenal’s visit to Anfield.

James Milner had sustained a hamstring injury recently. However, he is back in training and will hope to be in action against Arsenal this Saturday.

Andy Robertson

The left-back featured for 79 minutes in Scotland’s win over Denmark while sustaining a hamstring issue. He remains a major doubt for the Arsenal game.

Jordan Henderson

Captain Jordan Henderson may come back to play. He picked up a minor scare with the groin but should be fit by Saturday. While he has been training too.

Naby Keita

Naby Keita will be out for long as he suffering from a thigh problem. Therefore, the Reds cannot expect his return any time sooner. He is most unlikely to pass the fitness test for Arsenal’s clash.
