Liverpool transfer target Malick Fofana has opened up on his Premier League move and how it affects him on the pitch.
The Reds showing interest in the youngster is only spurring the attacking talent to get his best level of form in France. The Belgium international recently discussed his season up till now, the opportunity of breaking through and even playing in his debut match for his country.
Fofana has picked up 35 appearances for Olympique Lyonnaise this term and has found the back of the net on 10 occasions. The 20-year-old is the club’s top scorer in the Europa League with six goals coming in 9 matches.
Liverpool are in pursuit of attacking options to strengthen their frontline ahead of next season, with Slot’s team expected to have some changes and additions in some areas of the pitch.

Liverpool target Fofana reveals key things
Fofana is one of the names that is being linked with a move to Anfield in the summer. The player revealed that although, the interest from big clubs flatter him, he is 100% focused on bringing out his best at Lyon.
As per Football Insider, he said,
“Honestly, I hear about it (Liverpool and Arsenal) but it does not affect me, so I just focus on myself, and I know when I do great that the rest will come.”
Fofana admitted to being a fan of the Premier League.
“I watch a lot of the Premier League, I know there is a lot of big clubs, so for the moment, I just want to make that return on the pitch. In my head I said to myself – ‘this season I have to show myself to the world’. I know I am capable of that.”
Liverpool transfer interest in Fofana arrives in the midst of speculation over wide players at the club, with Salah’s contract situation and Luis Diaz attracting interest from FC Barcelona.
