It had been reported yesterday about a possible bid coming from Saudi for Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
Reports indicated it was Saudi Arabia club Al Nassr that was looking to get Allison’s signature.
But now any bid from Al Nassr for Allison looks unlikely after an agreement was reached with Athletico Paranaense Keeper Bento.
Saudi Bid Unlikely For Alisson Becker
Saudi club Al Nassr was in search of a goalkeeper and Ederson and Allison were on top of their list.
Ederson was their primary target and Allison was more or less a second option for Al Nassr in case Ederson’s deal didn’t go through.
According to Fabrizio Romano Al Nassr made an initial proposal for Ederson for around 30 million euros.
Man City rejected the proposal as they wanted more than 50 million euros to let Ederson leave.
Allison was reportedly next in Al Nassr’s list of goalkeepers but they decided to go for Athletico Paranaense Keeper Bento as he was available for around 18 million euros.
Now any move for Allison also remains unlikely as Al Nassr have reached an agreement with Athletico Paranaense keeper Bento Krepski.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the clubs have an agreement in place for a fee of around 18 million euros.
This means Liverpool will not have to worry about any bid coming from Saudi Arabia for Alisson Becker.
Alisson will be a key part of Arne Slot’s team and there was no way that Liverpool would have let him leave.
