Liverpool Set to Hijack Man United’s Move a Stunning Transfer Twist!

Liverpool have an opening to re-enter the race for De Ligt as their rivals Manchester United hesitates to meet Bayern’s demands.

Rivals making way for Liverpool to come back for De Ligt

Liverpool may have an unexpected oppurtunity to swoop in for one of their previous targets after their Premier league rivals Manchester United hit a obstacle in their hunt for Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt.

Since the beginning of Post-Klopp era, the new Dutch manager Arne Slot is yet to see any new additions to the Liverpool squad at Anfield.

Both Premier League giants, Liverpool and Manchester United have been active in the summer transfer window, eyeing vital players to bring into their squad to go back to the glory stage.

Yoro making way for the Reds

Leny Yoro decided to pursue his career in Manchester United which initially seemed like a set back for Liverpool, as he was one of their earlier targets.

This has made United to play hesitant game with Bayern in the De Ligt deal, which resulted in creating a opening for Liverpool to swoop back in for the Dutch defender.

The Bundesliga giants are asking for a price exceeding €50m for the former Ajax and Juventus player.

With United taking a step back , Liverpool could possibly have their first deal in the summer transfer window, an addition at the defensive wall where it is much needed by the management and fans.

Challenges Ahead

There are still challenges ahead, De Ligt had previously expressed a preference for Manchester United over Liverpool.

According to the well-known Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, De Ligt told his agent Rafela Pimenta to hold talks exclusively with Manchester United and nobody else.

This means Liverpool have to convince the Dutch defender by giving him a oppurtunity to play alongside his captian Virgil van Dijk and fellow Dutchman Arne Slot as the manager.

Bringing in De Ligt could mean a huge boost for Liverpool at the back of the pitch so that they can push for other targets as well in the summer transfer window.
