Most recently, the name Takefusa Kubo has been thrown out as a possible option for Arne Slot and Richard Hughes to target.

Kubo’s Transfer History With Real Madrid & Barcelona!

Kubo is one of the select groups to have been on the books of both Real Madrid and Barcelona. Kubo left Barcelona to return to his native Japan with FC Tokyo.

Real Madrid then swooped Kubo to bring him back to Spain. His time at Real Madrid was marked by a succession of Loans to different clubs.

He has an unusual record of representing Spain’s top two clubs without actually making a senior appearance for either. Eventually, he made a permanent move to Real Sociedad in 2022.

Still a youngster, Kubo has already met several expectations and has emerged out the other side as one of the brightest La Liga talents. He has also made 34 appearances for the Japan national team.

Liverpool Ready To Bid For LaLiga Winger Takefusa Kubo!

The Japanese outlet Sponichi Annex has claimed that Liverpool are preparing an offer of around $71M(€65M) for the player and is willing to offer an eye-watering salary to get the deal over the line.

There is still continued uncertainty around the future of Mohamed Salah in Liverpool.

While Liverpool expect to have him till next season, they can possibly offer him a new contract. Signing Kubo could be a possible replacement for Mohammed Salah, who has turned 32 this year.
