Liverpool target Victor Osimhen from Napoli and Gleison Bremer from Juventus in a €140m double deal to bolster their squad ahead of the new season.
Liverpool Chasing Two Stars Osimhen And Bremer At Once
Liverpool are actively pursuing two top stars from Serie A this summer, aiming for a significant double transfer.
They have shown interest in Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, who has scored 76 goals in 133 appearances. Despite Napoli’s initial high asking price, Liverpool are encouraged by a reduced €90m (£76m) demand.
Additionally, Juventus defender Gleison Bremer is also on their radar. Juventus, having secured Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice, is now willing to let Bremer go for €50m (£42.2m), and Liverpool seem prepared to meet this valuation.
Bolstering Squad
The potential acquisition of Osimhen would provide Liverpool with a lethal striker to bolster their attacking lineup, addressing the shortcomings of previous signings like Darwin Nunez.
Napoli are ready to sell Osimhen to finance new signings, including Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea.
Osimhen has expressed his desire to move to the Premier League, increasing the likelihood of this transfer.
Liverpool’s concrete interest and Osimhen’s readiness for a Premier League challenge make this move feasible.
The Juve Wall
In addition to Osimhen, Liverpool’s interest in Gleison Bremer is significant. With Juventus agreeing to sign Todibo, they are prepared to part ways with Bremer.
This move would cost Liverpool €140m (£118.2m) for both players, significantly strengthening their squad for the upcoming Champions League season.
Liverpool are also exploring a deal for Danish midfielder Morten Frendrup from Genoa, as they continue to bolster their midfield options amid interest in Wataru Endo.
