Leny Yoro Transfer Hurdle For Liverpool, Alisson’s Future Replacement Emerges

Despite impressive results in France, Leny Yoro, a highly regarded teenage centre-back for Lille, is unlikely to sign with Liverpool. Although a summer transfer to Anfield had been proposed, Liverpool have not yet made a move during the transfer season.

Without any roster additions, Arne Slot has started preseason training for the 2024–2025 campaign.

After their contracts expired, Adrian, Joel Matip, and Thiago Alcantara all left the team. Aside from the trio’s departure, Anfield’s transfer market has been quiet while the new management team settles in.

Since the end of the previous season, the Reds have been connected to a variety of players, although many of their top targets are already desired by other teams.

Leny Yoro Bid Accepted

A summer transfer to Anfield has been suggested for the highly-regarded teenager due to his strong performances in France.

According to earlier rumours, the defender is interested in joining Real Madrid. But according to a number of sources, Manchester United’s bid of between €60 million and €70 million was accepted.

Liverpool are apparently interested in Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin as a potential Alisson replacement, should the Brazilian decide to quit the team.

HITC reports that several Saudi Arabian teams are interested in Alisson, and the Reds’ recruitment committee is thinking about moving for Lunin to replace him.

Celtic are rumoured to be interested in Caoimhin Kelleher, which means Liverpool may try to get Lunin to challenge Alisson for the top slot. Additionally, according to HITC, Justin Bijlow of Feyenoord is still a target.
