Liverpool are reportedly making one final offer to ‘steal’ Kylian Mbappe away from Real Madrid.

Liverpool will make one final offer to recruit PSG sensation Kylian Mbappe in the summer transfer window.

The 23-year-old is reportedly making a free move to Madrid this summer. And Reds are hoping to hijack the deal with an improved offer.

Miguel Delaney claims in his weekly newsletter for The Independent that the Frenchman has yet to agree on terms for a deal with Los Blancos. Mbappe has already turned down rich offers from PSG. And the La Liga giants want to make him their star signing this summer.

Mbappe is one of the most well-known players globally, and for a good reason. Those who have seen him play for AS Monaco, PSG, and the France national team are well aware of his speed and directness when assaulting the opponent’s box.

Should Liverpool make a ‘sensational’ Offer to Mbappe?

However, it remains to be seen if the Reds have what it takes to sign Mbappe. The numbers that surround him right now are a little frightening. Last summer, Real Madrid reportedly rejected a €200 million bid for Mbappe.

The Independent reported in February that PSG would be willing to offer him wages “over £500,000, and closer to £1 million a week.” Those are significant figures, especially given the Reds’ difficulty extending Mohamed Salah’s deal beyond 2023.

So, can LFC afford someone like Mbappe financially? it’s anybody’s guess. However, having a superstar like him on the team would instantly strengthen our offense and cushion the blow if Sadio Mane or Salah were to leave the club soon.

It appears complicated, but in football, nothing is impossible. Klopp’s signings at Liverpool are a big reason for his success there. Our board would be prudent to bring Mbappe in if the German wants him.

But it can’t come at the expense of the club’s financial stability. Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota were signed at critical junctures in our attack’s development.
Perhaps we won’t regret missing out on Mbappe if we can make another logical acquisition like that, whether he stays at PSG or leaves for a club other than Liverpool.

PSG superstar is reportedly announcing his decision before the UCL Final. And it would be exciting to see what’s his next destination.
