The 36-year-old will miss the next couple of days due to a hamstring issue faced in the Carabao Cup defeat. The Reds are also waiting to discover if Trent Alexander-Arnold will be fit for the PL clash.

Klopp admitted Trent is yet to train with the squad. However, Joe Gomez could act as a replacement in the full-back area alongside Virgil van Dijk and Matip.

Meanwhile, the World Cup runners-up Ibrahima Konate will not return to training until 27th December. Thus, the Frenchman will not even be seen on the bench this Monday.
