Just after signing a new contract with Liverpool, Mohamed Salah is back with a goal contribution against West Ham United in Liverpool’s 2-1 win over the Hammers.
The Egyptian is out of no goal contributions in the last three games in the Premier League. However, that drought came to an end against West Ham United, which broke another Premier League record for Salah.
Mohamed Salah has 55 goal contributions in this season across all competitions, including 32 goals and 23 assists.
The 32-year-old is holding the top spot in the top goal scorer and top assist provider lists in the Premier League. Salah is back with an assist to Luis Diaz against West Ham United in the first half of the match.
His left-footed trivela pass found Luis Diaz on the opposite side of the pitch, who tapped the ball back into the net to give Liverpool a 1-0 lead.

Mohamed Salah breaks another Premier League record
This assist marked the 45th goal contribution for Mohamed Salah in the league. This makes a new record for the most goal contributions in a Premier League season.
The Liverpool man left behind Thierry Henry and Erling Haaland, who have 44 goal contributions in a 38-matchday Premier League campaign. Salah still has 6 matchdays in hand in the Premier League.
Salah is on his way to breaking another record of providing the highest number of assists in a single Premier League season.
Currently, Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne hold the record for most assists (20) in a single season. Mohamed Salah has completed 18 assists so far in this season’s Premier League.
No player in Europe’s top five leagues has crossed the 50 goal contributions this season apart from Mohamed Salah. And now he is on his way to extend the tally in the upcoming days.
