Liverpool pondering the injury of Luiz Diaz might keep him out for months

Liverpool fans worry that Luis Diaz will be “out for months” as he departed the Emirates Stadium on crutches and with his knee braced.
Fear roams above Liverpool as Luis Diaz takes a knock on his knee
The wide attacker was replaced 42 minutes into Sunday’s 3-2 Premier League loss to Arsenal for the Merseysiders due to an altercation with Thomas Partey.
Diaz was allowed to leave the field before going to the locker room for treatment. The injury did not immediately seem to be too serious.
The Colombian international, though, was later spotted exiting the stadium on crutches and wearing significant bracing around his knee.
The Sunday shenanigans
Medical personnel at Liverpool worry Diaz has a ligament injury. He may be out for weeks or perhaps until after the World Cup.
Prior to beginning rehabilitation, he will have scans on his knee. Maybe on Monday, to determine the extent of the injury.
Given Diaz’s significance to Liverpool’s attacking play, a prolonged loss of him would be disastrous.
Since joining from Porto in January for an estimated £50 million, he has been a bright spot and has probably been the team’s best player this year.
After his dismissal on Sunday, which occurred soon after he had assisted Darwin Nunez in scoring the first equaliser, Liverpool’s offensive performance suffered noticeably.
Diaz wasn’t Klopp’s team’s only notable injury on a terrible day. After a fight towards the end of the first session, Trent Alexander-Arnold was also replaced at halftime due to an injury.
Like it wasn’t worst for the Reds already. The list of injuries increases game after game. It is one of the reasons why Liverpool have had a bad start to the season. The “Luiz Diaz injury” increases the concern.
The Colombian has established himself as a reliable option for Klopp. His aggression and speed gives the Liverpool attack a new flair. However, now we all have to wait and see how much time Diaz takes in recovery.
