Liverpool have opened contract talks with Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold as LFC table extension offers.

The 15th PL matchday of the Reds got postponed due to Storm Darragh that hampered the crucial match up against Everton.

However, despite trailing by a game in respect to other teams, LFC stand first with a four-point lead ahead of second-placed Chelsea.

With a victory in this match would’ve meant the Anfield giants would’ve extended their lead at the top of the table by 10 points prior to Chelsea’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur.

Arne Slot & Co. has been able to deliver unexpected results since day one of the 2024-25 season and they look destined to secure both PL and UCL titles.

Much of the success can be attributed to phenomenal performances of talisman Mohamed Salah, skipper Virgil van Dijk and vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold.

However, the trio runs out of contract at the end of the season and will be eligible to sign pre-contract agreement from January 1.
