Liverpool are preparing to welcome struggling West Ham United this weekend in the Premier League.
This will be a very important match for the teams. Liverpool are comfortably leading the table with 11 points clean while only 7 matches are left in the league.
On the other side, West Ham United are struggling and currently in 16th place. It is an important match for Liverpool as they want to bounce back after their 3-2 loss to Fulham last week.
West Ham also want to win the match to stay away from the relegation zone. As this is a crucial match for both of them, five players are set to miss the fixtures from the both the teams combined.

Who will miss the Liverpool and West Ham clash
West Ham United forward Antonio is still out of the squad due to his devastating leg injury in December 2024. The striker picked up the injury after his vehicle collided with a tree while driving home from training in December.
Then another West Ham forward, Summerville, is also out due to injury, who was also once linked with Liverpool. The young Dutch winger picked up a hamstring injury during Graham Potter’s first match as head coach in January against Aston Villa.
Hammers defender Aaron Cresswell is also out of the fixtures as he suffering from an undisclosed muscle injury. The defender is a very crucial player for the Hammers. However, he will be out for now.
Not just West Ham, Liverpool are also going to miss two of their star defender. They are Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez. Arnold is injured since the second leg of the champions league last 16 against PSG.
As per the reports of Dave Ockop, initial reports suggested a recovery timeline of six to eight weeks for this type of injury, while Arne Slot has expressed hope that he could return for the final games of the campaign.
Another Liverpool man, Joe Gomez, will also be unavailable for Arne Slot’s side as he is on his way to recover from the hamstring injury which he picked up in February. The England international is having bad season due to frequent injuries.
