Ivan Toney’s future at Brentford seems to have gone into thin air, having been banned from playing football due to the betting charges.
Toney has been linked with Arsenal for a while, but the links have gone cold, there were talks with Tottenham Hotspur, and a bid from Tottenham worth £40m was rejected by Tottenham after falling below Brentford’s valuation of £65m.
With one year remaining on Toney’s contract, Brentford could risk losing Ivan Toney for free next summer if a buyer can’t be found this summer.
Liverpool must consider Ivan Toney as a competition for Darwin Nunez, at Liverpool or could even be a replacement.
