Liverpool are set to mark a new era under FSG as Karim Benzema makes admission about Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds had a wonderful season winning two domestic trophies in name of FA Cup and EFL Cup. Moreover, the Merseyside club also finished 2nd in the Premier League and were just 1 point behind the champions Manchester City.

Thus, Jurgen Klopp recently also claimed an award for the Best Manager of the season in the Premier League.

New FSG era

Liverpool CEO pays tribute to outgoing sporting directors. And he believes Julian Ward is the right guy to continue his predecessor’s excellent job at Anfield.

After more than a decade of work behind the scenes in Merseyside, Edwards will quit the club at the end of the season. He became technical director after joining the club in 2011 as head of performance and analysis. But it was as Liverpool’s first sports director, the typically low-key analyst cemented his reputation among the club’s worldwide following.

Edwards was essential in bringing together the majority of Jurgen Klopp’s current roster. As well as ensuring that Liverpool was receiving fair pay for players who were going out of Anfield.

Liverpool is one of the forerunners in data analysis in football. A whole research department dedicated to thorough assessments of potential transfer targets brought in during Edwards’ tenure.

Ward was named assistant sports director in December 2020. And has taken a more hands-on approach this season. He prepares to take over as head coach when his mentor steps down next month.

CEO Hogan, who replaced Peter Moore in the summer of 2020, expects the club to continue to thrive in terms of recruitment under Ward.

Karima Benzema & Jurgen Klopp Claim as UCL Final gets closer

Real Madrid star Karim Benzema says his team knows what to expect in the Champions League final against Liverpool. While Claiming the Reds ‘haven’t changed much through the years.’

The LaLiga champions face Jurgen Klopp’s team in a mouthwatering match to declare the European champions. Moreover, Liverpool will be out for vengeance after losing to Los Blancos in the quarter-finals last season and in the 2018 Champions League final in Kyiv.

Benzema is enjoying one of the best seasons in his illustrious career. And is vital in Real Madrid’s route to the final. He has 15 goals in 11 Champions League games. Also out of those 15, 10 came in the KO rounds. His team’s run includes dramatic comeback victories over PSG, Chelsea, and Manchester City.

He will face a very different Liverpool side in Paris. Only eight of Liverpool’s 18-man team from 2018 final are still at the club. Benzema is really confident about the final. He said

“They’re very good. They haven’t changed much for the last four or five years. They have a good coach [Klopp]. But we have to focus on our own game.”

Reds’ have to make sure they keep Benzema Silent if they want to have any chance in the final.
