According to reports, Liverpool have made it clear that they have no intention of selling Darwin Nunez, despite an approach for a transfer from Saudi Arabian giants Al-Nassr for the Uruguayan striker.
Liverpool have reiterated that they have no plans of parting ways with striker Darwin Nunez, prompting the Saudi side to explore other forward options.
Despite his high profile £85m transfer from Benfica in 2022, Nunez has found himself lower in the pecking order under Arne Slot this season.
The forward who scored 34 goals in 41 matches for Benfica before his move to Anfield, is yet to replicate that form at Liverpool.

Darwin Nunez transfer situation
Nunez is set to remain at Liverpool this month, as the club reportedly informed Al-Nassr that they are not currently interested in negotiating any deal for the striker.
The forward is considered a key member of the squad as Arne Slot’s side continue their quest for silverware in the second part of the season.
Regardless of the Reds’ current position, there is expected to be increased interest in Darwin Nunez during the summer transfer window.
If Liverpool choose to part ways with the 25-year-old in the summer, there will surely be a strong market for his signature in the summer.
The striker is included in the squad for the Reds’ final group phase match in the UEFA Champions League against PSV, with Arne Slot opting to give some of his key players rest ahead of Saturday’s trip to the Vitality Stadium to take on in-form Bournemouth in the Premier League.
Nunez will be looking to make his mark in the UCL and add to his 6 goals across all competitions this term, as Slot’s men go in search of a maximum 8 wins from 8 games to secure top spot in the new look league phase.
