Liverpool looking to sign USMNT star to replace Mohamed Salah?
Liverpool are looking at AC Milan’s Christian Pulisic as one of the names to replace Mohamed Salah, the American international joined AC Milan from Chelsea last summer.
Pulisic scored against Liverpool in the Champions league after a bright start to the season from him. He has three goals and two assists in the opening 5 Serie A games.
Liverpool add Christian Pulisic to the shortlist?
Christian Pulisic joined AC Milan from Chelsea last summer for €20 million, he has since made 57 appearances and scored 20 goals for AC Milan.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato the Reds will have to pay double the €20 million Milan paid for Pulisic in July 2023. Christian Pulisic has been on good form since joining AC Milan. The USMNT star had the most productive season in his career last season with 2 goals and eight assists in Serie A.
According to reports Liverpool will not make any decision on Christian Pulisic until Mo Salah’s future is resolved. With only one year left on Salah’s contract, there is still no agreement reached between the Egyptian and the club.
There is still three years left on Christian Pulisic’s contract, with an option to extend. Pulisic looks happy with his excellent start to life at Milan, and currently has no desire to leave Milan. However if Liverpool come knocking with a contract offer, Christian Pulisic might be urged to join the Reds.
