Noa Lang has started the season on high notes for Belgium outfit and is heavily linked to some of the European giants including Liverpool. Interestingly, the Reds are leading the race to sign the 22-year-old Dutch forward.

According to Calciomercato, Jurgen Klopp is keen to bring Lang to Anfield. Lang has already contributed four goals and five assists in 14 games so far in this season. While he caught everyone’s eyes for his performance during the UEFA Champions League game against PSG.

With the current form of Liverpool’s famous front three, every opponent is worried about how to stop them. If we consider Liverpool’s goal-scoring record in the opening 8 games of the Premier League, the Reds have scored 22 goals.

Out of all the 22 goals scored. Salah, Mane, and Firmino have contributed with 16 goals. Despite the impressive goalscoring form, it seems an attacking addition will be a good fit for the team on the bench.

Why is everyone excited about Liverpool making a move for Noa Lang ?

During the game against PSG, people witnessed his playing style is similar to Neymar Jr. Many people drew a comparison with the Brazilian. And surely Liverpool will be getting a fine attacking option if the deal goes through.

A potential move in the January transfer window will be interesting to watch, as both Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane will join their respective national teams for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Noa Lang signing could also prove to be a potential long-term heir for Sadio Mane, who is 29 years old and his contract is set to expire in 2023.

Noa Lang seems to be the type of player Liverpool owners would agree to bring to Anfield. As Liverpool believes in bringing in young leads, who could be nourished under Klopp’s guidance.

Liverpool would have to pay around 25 million to snap him up from the Belgian champions.

Even though Liverpool fans all around the world, wants to see Erling Halaand or Kylian Mbappe to join the club. But realistically Noa Lang suits better for the American owners as he would demand much lower wages. Which will be a major boost for the owners to go after Noa Lang.
