Florian Wirtz of Bayer Leverkusen is apparently being watched by Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Liverpool. There are many transfer rumors roaming around the German attacking sensation.

The German international suffered a serious knee injury in March 2022, which caused him to miss the first half of the current season. Since his comeback at the beginning of the year, Wirtz has made 13 appearances, making two goals and dishing out six assists.

In 91 games across all competitions, Wirtz has tallied 21 goals and 28 assists for Leverkusen. Many of Europe’s top clubs, including Liverpool, have taken note of the German’s impressive performances.

There are several teams vying for the young player, but there isn’t a clear front-runner as of now, according to reports. Leverkusen anticipates that Wirtz will stay with the team for at least one more season despite his contract with die Werkself expiring in June 2027.

In anticipation of Germany hosting Euro 2024, Wirtz is expected to play for Leverkusen before assessing his options after the competition. In preparation for friendlies against Belgium and Peru, Wirtz, who has played four times for Germany, is currently included in the German squad.
