Liverpool are set to add Roderick van der Ham from Feyenoord as a video analyst to Arne Slot’s backroom staff. Van der Ham has left his role as video analyst from Feyenoord and will reportedly join Liverpool and former boss Arne Slot.
Slot had already bought two of his own staff from Feyenoord, Sipke Hulshoff and Ruben Peeters.
Roderick van der Ham to join the Reds as video analyst
Liverpool initially wanted to bring Etienne Reijnen who was Slot’s analyst and technical advisor in his final season. However, Reijnen was unable to join due to complications in securing a work permit.
But Liverpool have found an alternative in Roderick van der Ham who has confirmed his exit from Feyenoord through his social media.
“Last week, my time at Feyenoord officially came to an end,” Van Der Ham wrote on his Instagram.
Dutch outlet 1908.nl reported a month ago about Van der Ham’s move to Anfield. Liverpool is expected to announce his arrival soon. Van der Ham worked at Heracles Almelo, RKC Waalwijk, NAC Breda and the Netherlands U19s before spending 2 years at Feyenoord
Roderick van der Ham will join the analysis team which already includes Daniel Spearritt, Janson Moreno, James French and Joel Bonner.
Van der Ham’s experience working with Arne Slot, Sipke Hulshoff, and Ruben Peeters will certainly help the team.
