Mo Salah has been crowned as Liverpool’s fan footballer of the year for 2022. The Egyptian wins it three times in a row by beating his teammates Alisson Becker, Thiago Alcantara, and Luis Diaz.

Salah wins it again in 2022

Salah had a tremendous 21-22 season. He single-handedly took Liverpool to the final of the Champions League 2022. Liverpool fought for the PL title with Man City till the last day of the Premier League. They were the Champions of the Carabao Cup, F.A. Cup, and Community Shield.

Last year the Merseyside giant’s number 11 scored 23 goals and assisted 13 goals in 35 matches he played in Premier League.

This year he has already scored 6 goals and assisted 3 out of his 14 appearances in PL.

Chelsea rejects Liverpool legend

The 30-year-old Egyptian was brought to Anfield from Roma by Jurgen Klopp. He netted his first competitive goal in Red’s shirt way back in August 2017 against Watford. Since then he has not stopped scoring on big stages.

In his debut season in 2017, the Egyptian magician scored 32 Premier League goals. He won the first of three golden boots in his first five years with the Reds. In his total campaign at LFC, Salah has firmly put his mark at Anfield stadium.

Mo still hungry for more

The Red’s number 11 has claimed many individual and collective honors. His trophy cabinet consists of PL, Champions League, F.A. Cup, Carabao Cup, Community Shield, and Club World Cup. He is among the most decorated player of the Merseyside Giants.

Salah has become a fan-favorite player. His shirt sale is highest among the Liverpool fans all over the world.

Liverpool are currently sitting in sixth place at the table. After a disappointing start to the campaign they are looking, to grab the top 4 spot. To retain the position Klopp is looking forward to his experienced team players delivering on the big stage.
