Liverpool youngster Jayden Danns is set to return to training, after being out due to a injury in his back. Danns is yet to make an appearance this season due to a stress fracture in his back.
The injury kept him out of the Pre-season trip to the USA and also blocked a potential loan move to Plymouth Argyle.
Jayden Danns set to return from injury
Danns made his first appearance for the senior team under Jurgen Klopp amidst an injury crisis. Jayden Danns has scored two goals for the senior team.
He made his debut against Luton Town in February, followed by impressive performances in the FA cup and Carabao cup final.
The Athletic now reports that Jayden Danns is stepping his recovery from injury and now has the ‘greenlight’ to train with the club’s U21 squad. His training will be ‘gradually increased’ as he works regain full fitness and join the senior team.
Danns was one of the most promising talents from the academy after his breakthrough last season.
Other injury updates
Not only Jayden Danns, injury crisis have struck other players too. Harvey Elliot fractured his foot in September, he has been out for more than a month now. But Elliot is making progress and has been pictured training at the AXA.
Alexis Mac Allister is back fit after getting a knock against Crystal Palace, But Alisson Becker will out until the end of the November international break, after sustaining an hamstring issue against Crystal palace.
