Darwin Nunez on Social media:

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did for me in the National Team. You were my idol without knowing you and you are even more so now that I know you. As you said, you came as a child and you leave as a legend, it is everyone’s dream and you fulfilled it.”

Darwin Nunez has been a teammate of Luis Suarez for five years on the International stage.

Suarez joined the Reds on deadline day in 2010 as a replacement for Fernando Torres. He has 133 appearances and 82 goals for Liverpool across 4 seasons. Suarez was one of the best strikers to wear a Liverpool shirt.

Suarez left for Barcelona in 2014 and won numerous trophies with the Spanish giants. He later joined Athletico Madrid in 2020 and helped them win La Liga.
