Federico Chiesa prepares for his Liverpool return
Federico Chiesa has been out for sometime now and fans have started to worry. The Italian had a concerning injury record but Liverpool signed him anyway.
James Pearce via The Athletic: “There is no truth in rumours that Liverpool are looking to sell Federico Chiesa. Liverpool are basically giving him a mini pre-season in the hopes he can build up his fitness levels.”
There were rumours about a possible January exit for Chiesa, however Pearce has played down all rumours. Chiesa can hopefully benefit from this mini pre-season and get back to his fitness levels.
If he can stay fit for the rest of the season he can be a key player. Federico Chiesa can be used as a back-up for Salah on that right side for Liverpool. Liverpool need all their players fit as the season is going to get intense.

It is so early to write Chiesa off as he hasn’t got an opportunity show his talent. The lack of pre-season has not done him any good and it will not make sense to let him leave in January.
