Liverpool are reportedly trying to sign in-form Barcelona winger Raphinha as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian King has been winning the hearts of the Kopites since joining the Reds from Roma back in 2017.
Alongside the emotional takeover, the forward has truly acquired club-legend status with his performances, becoming the third-highest goalscorer for the Merseysiders.
Salah is also having one of the best individual seasons in the PL and worldwide with 54 goals (32 scored, 22 assists) so far across all competitions, which has brought his name into the Ballon d’Or contention chatter.
Despite losing their recent UCL game against PSG, which resulted in a Champions League exit, the Anfield giants have their chances of winning the league and cup double.
However, all the joy might vanish as LFC have not progressed regarding the contract renewal of the soon-to-be free agent Salah.

Liverpool eye Raphinha transfer
The panic that the 32-year-old has ‘already agreed’ to a move to Saudi is widespread.
So, to secure the right-wing position for the upcoming seasons, the Reds have identified Barcelona star Raphinha as a replacement, as per CaughtOffside.
The Brazilian winger has been in top form for the Nou Camp side and is also a Ballon d’Or contender.
The Merseyside giants are not the only ones ‘closely monitoring’ the prospect of signing the former Leeds man, as Arsenal, Newcastle United, and Manchester United also do the same.
Raphinha has been a subject of interest for LFC since the summer of 2022 before the Catalans swooped in after failing to sign Nico Williams.
Despite being a right-winger, the 28-year-old’s versatility has been evident with his performances as a left-winger, accumulating 46 goals from 41 appearances across all competitions.
If only the Liverpool officials are unfortunate and unable to renew Salah’s contract, then the addition of Raphinha would prove to be a great decision for the PL table toppers.
