In the ongoing January transfer window, we have already witnessed a lot of surprising signings and it looks like there are many more to come. This transfer window has been entirely dominated by talks around players like Enzo Fernandez, Joao Felix, Mykhailo Mudryk, Dusan Vlahovic, and many others. One such latest talk is going around about Joao Palhinha to Liverpool.

Liverpool have been quite active in this January transfer window as they are trying their best to turn the tables around in their disappointing season so far. The Reds have already signed Netherlands star Cody Gakpo and are further continuously linked with some midfielders.

Joao Palhinha to Liverpool?

Joao Palhina has caught every elite club’s eye with his consistently amazing performance this season. The Fulham star has contributed to his team’s immense success this season. Fulham have been wonderful this season and have a high chance of qualifying for European football. Craven Cottage are currently in 7th position in the table with equivalent points to Liverpool. They are ahead of clubs like Chelsea, Brentford, and Aston Villa.

The 27-year-old has played a huge role in the club’s success and the club does not want to trade him with any other club. The Whites signed the Portuguese star for 20 million Euros last summer. Palhinha is enjoying his time at the club right now. However many Premier League clubs are interested in him and anyone can make a move sooner than later.

Liverpool and Tottenham are the clubs in the race who are impressed with the player’s consistency. Moreover, the Reds have their eyes on the midfielder even before his move to Craven Cottage.

Transfer round-up across Europe

Kalidou Koulibaly

Chelsea signed Kalidou Koulibaly for 33 million Euros in the summer. However, the Blues are now thinking that the Senegal defender might not fit in the team anymore. Koulibaly impressing everyone around Europe has been impressive this season as well. However, Chelsea not doubting his potential thinks he may not be good for them in a long run.

There are rumors that Kouibaly may head to Italy and is even being suggested that the defender might leave the club in the summer. Chelsea have been busy getting defenders this season as they are now interested in Josep Gvardiol though it’s just a speculation and nothing’s confirmed yet.

Dusan Vlahovic

Juventus might face problems on and off the field by the end of the season as one or two big names might leave their club. Vlahovic might part ways with Juventus and Premier League most likely is his next stop. Vlahovic is one of the most impressive and consistent talents in the world right now who made a name for himself very quickly.

Chelsea are looking to sign a no. 9 and will likely go after the 22-year-old. Furthermore, Manchester United tried to sign the striker previously and might try again.

Jack Grealish

Jack Grealish to make sure that he is worth the 100 million Euros spent by Manchester City. However, people are also aware that the club may try to part ways with him. Further ahead, Rafael Leao and Bukayo Saka are some players that the club likes which is not possible right now but may change later depending on the contract talks.

However, it is also being said that Grealish may end up on the other end of the transfer of these players. Well for now nothing is confirmed and anything surprising can take place.

Wilfried Zaha

Since Zaha’s contract is expiring this summer, it is no surprise that the player will be leaving Crystal Palace. Reports suggested that the player prefers a move to a club in the top seven but as of now, nothing’s clear. The 30-year-old has been receiving interest from all across Europe with French club Marseille most interested to sign him. Furthermore, German clubs are also interested so let’s see where the player heads next.

The transfer window is still open, so let’s see what surprising transfers await.
