Liverpool confirms Champions League squad ahead of league phase
Under the Dutchman, LFC is performing well under intense pressure, and it is quite evident from their 3-0 win over Man Utd. Now, Liverpool has announced the final lineup of their Champions League squad for the upcoming season.
The Merseyside Club is looking forward to starting their campaign in the latter part of this month. That’s why they have recently come forward with their share of plans for the squad.
Liverpool are going to have 24 men in their Champions League squad
Although LFC is still unbeaten in the 2024-25 Premier League, thanks to Slot and his elegant style, they have another war ahead. The Champions League is approaching Anfield, and Slot’s squad is getting ready for everything.
That’s why, Liverpool has confirmed their Champions League squad since they will start their campaign on this month. To be accurate, LFC will be facing AC Milan on 17th September. So, before it happens, UEFA fixed Tuesday 11 pm a deadline for all the teams to submit their lists of senior squads.
It appears that the Champions League squad will have Kelleher, Jaros and Alisson as Goalkeepers. We have Salah, Nunez, Diaz, Gakpo, Jota and Federico Chiesa in the Forwards. As expected, LFC will keep Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Morton, Endo, Jones, Hill, Nyoni and Gravenberch in the Midfield.
The 24 men Liverpool Champions League squad has Trent, Tsimikas, Konate, Gomez, Nallo, Robertson and Van Dijk as Defenders. Although this is List A, it appears that the Reds have List B ready, too. Notable stars like Quansah, Bradley, Danns, Elliott, Davies and McConnell are on that list.
